The Arts Council

The mission of The Arts Council, Inc. is to enhance, educate, and expand public interest in the arts throughout Northeast Georgia. We focus our attention on: -Providing performing, visual, literary arts and film programs -Promoting and providing multi-cultural arts programs and services -Advocating the arts at the local, regional, state and national level -Promoting Arts Council Affiliate organizations -Serving as a centralized arts information center and distributor -Providing an arts calendar, and Job Bank for artists -Providing outreach services to extend the reach of art -Providing arts education to children -Serving as owner, operations and restorations manager, and guardian of The Arts Council’s facilities

The Arts Council strives to support and enhance appreciation for the arts in Northeast Georgia through programming, education and community involvement.
