Mission Statement: The UNG College of Education is committed to developing socially-just and critical thinkers in the fields of (1) education and (2) kinesiology who will educate, serve, and lead in diverse communities. This commitment is demonstrated through the active engagement of our students and faculty in a rigorous curriculum; intensive clinical practice; scholarship; and strong local, regional, and international partnerships.
Vision Statement: The COE at UNG will foster a strong sense of community, promote student success, and focus on leadership in kinesiology and education through intentional planning of diverse experiences in the following areas: clinical education, community involvement, service opportunities, evidence-based practice, global learning, social justice education, and leadership development.
